Havens, Yagaloff Yagaloff - Dr. Anwar had asked us to put this on the agenda. He has a prior commitment and is committed to this resolution. Purpose is to provide more space at the Community Center for everyone. There was a belief that this amount of money could produce a 10,000 sf addition. would like the largest available space for this amount of money. This will allow the taxpayer to decide if they would like vote positively for this. Will support this.l

Havens - what will 1.5M buy? Galligan - last time when this was looked at it was just for seniors and there was additional things that needed to be done which would cost additional money. This is a general expansion and some of the other requirements would not be necessary. Councilor Snyder reviewed this previously and it was approximately $____________ per square feet. Any type of addition would be beneficial to the Community Center. Havens - the need is there Five referendums are too many. I will support this resolution so the public can make a decision upon this item.

Delnicki - I would like to see something done at the Community Center but would like something successful. If we want something successful we have to think this out. My concern is that we already have five referendum and putting a sixth on will be too many. With the other referendums the public will know what they are getting. With this referendum we do not know what we are getting - how much space can be built for 1.5M. If this referendum does not go through it can really hurt the project in the future. A suggestion was made to have PBC look at this and see what $1.5M can buy us. Then the public will know what they are buying. So refrettably I can not support this until the public will know how their money is being used.

Havens - the sixth one will be no more valuable then the fist one. If this is approved then it lets the public know we are still thinking about this. Important to bring it out to the public. Galligan - you don't have a design but we do have old design. Could move someof those around and come up with something. Havens - could it be put into the referendum that preliminary designs are complete? Galligan - no we would have to have an architect come in and design this.

Yagaloff - It is good to have a more definitive plan for this project. Things that have a specific price tag is easy to say that is an estimate. A building is a little more difficult. I am taking a different approach and speaking for Saud. Some of the comments that were made, that we should be behind all of these projects because it is important that they succeed. Saud supported all of the projects so they could go to the public even when he did not feel they were the highest priority of the community. Councillor Yagaloff stated he felt the same way. Lets get behind the community needs and we are backing the referendums. We support the community as a whole so lets support the referendum for the Community Center. We should all be able to go out and support all of the projects. Should stand behind it and let the public decide. The way you build support across the board is to support other people's ideas.

Delnicki - even if this does not go to referendum something is going to be done and will be done right. 3-5 failed
