Resolution authorizing the appropriation of $75,000 from the Capital Nonrecurring Funds account to the Wood Memorial Library & Museum STEAP grant account for HVAC upgrades WHEREAS, the Town Council wishes to use $75,000 in Capital Non-Recurring funds to assist in paying for HVAC Upgrades at the Wood Memorial Library and Museum; and WHEREAS, on November 16,2020 the Town Council approved a resolution accepting a grant in the amount of $ 149,000 HVAC upgrades to the for the Wood Memorial Library and Museum from the State Bond Commission; and WHEREAS, on August 12th 2022 an opinion of probable cost was completed by the Design Engineering Firm estimating the cost of the project to be closer to $200,000; and WHEREAS, these additional funds will help ensure that the project is completed as fully designed; and THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the South Windsor Town Council hereby authorizes the Town Manager, Michael Maniscalco to transfer $75,000 from the Capital Non-Recurring account to the Wood Memorial Library and Museum STEAP Grant account for HVAC upgrades to the Wood Memorial Library and Museum.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the South Windsor Town Council hereby appoints Louise Neary (D) as a member of the Economic Development Commission for a term ending November 30, 2025. Resolution amending the term end date of Michael Buganski (R) an alternate of the Economic Development Commission WHEREAS, the South Windsor Town Council previously adopted a resolution appointing Michael Buganski (R) as an alternate on the Economic Development Commission on February 22, 2022, which resolution stated an incorrect term end date. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the South Windsor Town Council hereby appoints Michael Buganski (R) for a term ending November 30, 2023.
Resolution reappointing ClifftonLarsonAllen as the Town Auditor for the Fiscal year ending June 30,2023 at a fee of $65,000 BE IT RESOLVED, that the South Windsor Town Council hereby reappoints the firm of ClifftonLarsonAllen LLP of West Hartford, Connecticut, to audit the books and accounts of the Town of South Windsor, as provided in the General Statutes of the State of Connecticut; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the fee for said auditing services by ClifftonLarsonAllen LLP will be $65,000 for Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2023, for a term expiring December 31, 2023.
